Race 2 – Position 9

Morcom was one of the cars that managed to avoid a huge smash on the opening lap before the safety car was bought out.

After the safety car sent the drivers back into pit lane, Morcom made up up four places in his second Race to finish in P9 marking his first Top 10 finish in a Supercar.

Race 4 – Position 7

After it rained all night and throughout the day, Morcom headed out in the wet conditions to set his best Race result yet, P7.

Following a weekend of positive results and improvements, Morcom is now 9th in the Super2 Series Championship.

“IT WAS A PRETTY HECTIC WEEKEND, WE DID REALLY WELL TO MISS OUT ON THE BIG SMASH ON SATURDAY AND TO GRAB OUR FIRST TOP TEN FINISH. SUPER PUMPED TO GET OUR BEST RESULT YET IN THE WET ON SUNDAY AND LOOKING FORWARD TO IMPROVING AGAIN AT PHILLIP ISLAND. BIG THANKS TO THE EGGLESTON MOTORSPORT TEAM FOR ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND.”

Morcom will now prepare for Round 3 of the Super2 Series at the Phillip Island SuperSprint on April 21-23, with all Races to be televised LIVE on Fox Sports.
